This listing is for one sock set. You will receive a 100g/463yd hank of hand dyed sock yarn AND a 20g/90yd contrasting mini. This sock yarn is a 4 ply blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon. Note: pictures may show more than one set.

This Stargazer sock set includes a 100g main colorway with swirls of apple green, pops of magenta, and sunshine yellow. The 20g mini is a bright spring green.  This colorway is similar to the Stargazer Lily colorway I dyed waaaay back at the birth of Granite State Yarns.  The colors are the same, but I updated my technique a bit now that I've got a few more years of dyeing under my belt. Part of the fun of hand dyed yarn is that no two skeins are the same, but I thought I'd let you know that we're always improving here!

This yarn was used as the sample for my Arethusa Falls Socks pattern, available here in my shop as an instant download, and also on Ravelry if you prefer.

The dyes were set and then washed and rinsed to remove any remaining dye. Minimal bleeding may occur, so I recommend hand washing projects separately in cold water and laying flat to dry. Please be aware that colors on your screen may not exactly match the colors in real life.

My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches. No two skeins are exactly alike, even from the same batch. If you are using multiple skeins for a project, I recommend alternating skeins (i.e. helical knitting).
